Really good video. You may not agree with him though.

My sig will never happen, but it would be awesome if it did.

Every time someone says "good video," it ends up being a video making a point they already agreed with, and just expounding on it in a whiny voice.

EDIT: There is no need to change your accent when saying a foreign name or word. We don't assume the best French accent we can when we say, "rendezvous," or a German one when we say, "Einstein."

Actually, a lot of good points were made as using examples of games from both sides of the globe along with the changes or lack of thereof of gaming trends, the person was able to illustrate his point within the video's short time frame.

Let this be a lesson kids. When debating, solve your disagreements not with words but by screaming,"I am a man!!!!" and punching them in the gut.

The video, and the fact that he not blinded by the fact of JRPGs being linear to begin with

If you aren't willing to commit to the challenge, don't bother giving any input on it.

You mean commit to the challenge, like an xbox fanboy responding to a PS fanboy that says "name one good exclusive"?

You're already set to ignore anything valid, so there is no challenge to be had here. You just want people to say something so you can shoot it down.

You want to set a challenge? Open your mind

Apparently your country was too poor to afford a brain. Functioning and all.

But in all seriousness, JRPGs haven't changed much over the decades mainly cause their success hasn't been challenged for the past few decades unlike today. Many JRPGs do struggle to even have a cult following now and the sales figures for these games are a testament to that.

Final Fantasy XIII has very well proved the breaking point for how tired people are of the same thing being regurgitated over and over again being plot, gameplay or characters. Many developers have just now started rethinking their strategies in order to better compete but whether you want to hear it or not, Final Fantasy XIII has crippled general Western interest in JRPGs and that is something you can't sweep under tye rug.

This is an obvious dodge. The quickest way to silence me would be to name a point, and the only risk involved is that I might attempt to counter it.
