I kind of enjoyed the XII games. I guess this means I'm not a "true" gamer. :(

Going by what some think you would be right on that. It's not just XIII either.
In the eyes of some if you like any game that has changed you are automaticaly classified as not being a true gamer or fan of the series.

If you want an example bring up RE6 or DmC. God help you if you mention them and say you liked the past entries.

You hate a game because you abuse autobattle, yet defend a game that plays itself?

Something is wrong here...

Final Fantasy XII does not play itself. The world is monstrous, and there are a billion things to do in it, unlike FFXIII.

FFXII has depth and a **** ton of exploration, a **** ton of customization, etc. So much to do in FFXII, unlike FFXII where you just go in one direction and press x and the paradigm shift button.

I'm really hoping Square makes an HD remaster of XII: International. It is the only FF game (not including the MMO's) that I have yet to play.

Oh yes there is just so much customization when every character is a clone of each other kinda like X the offer nothing unique at all.

XII has depth? Where? The story is terrible, the characters have no personality at all. The side quests on XII are the same as XIII. Go to this spot, kill this, come back. And yet people complain about it on XIII?

And yeah XII plays itself it requires nothing on your part except hold the left stick up.

The only reason anyone praises it Is because it takes place in the same world as FFT.
