You don't like the setting, or you don't like the gameplay?

The setting is off putting to some, but if you like shooters, the gameplay should feel pretty solid.

It's my number one most played game ever. I have over 7 some odd days logged into my saved file, plus 20 more hours using my 2nd and 3rd character that I never played with much.

I loved borderlands 1 and I'm not really a big fan of fps games but for some reason borderlands 2 was just borederlands 2 haha. Maybe it wasn't different enough from the first and I just grew tired of it.

Fun co-op game with an open world. Get a bunch of friends together and yell at each other while you try to accomplish your quests.

I find it fun.

its great until the second playthrough when the enemies turn into super bullet sponges and its nearly impossible to upgrade to decent new weapons

Yah, I fell for the hype too.

I started with the NInja character but the gamplay feels so janky. I couldn't finish it.
You'll not gainsay my terms are more than generous.

FPS and RPG made a baby. That's what's so special about it.

I have a Mechromancer who uses shotguns and misses at point-blank range with most of the pellets, but those that hit, usually do over 5000 damage per pellet. I love that.

Combine that with something like a shotgun that causes the bullets to bounce off walls anyway, and the skill to make every missed shot near a guy bounce off and hit him for less damage, and the skill to make every so many hits ricochet off and hit another enemy in the same area, and... I can turn a room into something resembling Leatherface's kitchen.

And that's when I pull out my robot buddy...
Stupid, stupid rat creatures!!!

I find the attempts at comedy to be really bad, except for the Tiny Tina parts (though knowing that she is voiced by some older women is kind of sick).

It has a strong RPG element, but the whole game just feels like DLC patched together.
