It seems like every freaking game I played is deemed as "AAA" by gaming sites....

game I recently bought

Arkam City, The Last of Us, GTA 5, Red Dead, Tomb Raider, DMC reboot, MG Rising, Bioshock Infinite, Uncharted 3, Skyrim, Dead Space 3, Ass Creed 3, God of War 3...... why are these called "AAA"?

AAA is referring to the budget. Big budget games are AAA.

so all the games I bought recently are big budget? well that would apply to EVERY PS3 game, average development cost is $20,000,000+ per title

I guess GTA5 would be AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA uh...250m for a game, you don't see that every day xD

I don't think MGR would be quite into AAA territory.

It means nothing official.
People place the "AAA" label on titles that generally get favorable reviews and are well acknowledged as being good. It's not an official term. You could probably say it means "quality", but of course the trolls are going to come out of the woodwork to make up their own BS descriptions.

According to my workplace, you can threaten managers with a box cutter and keep your job. WTH is wrong with this company?!

The game which is usually made by enormous cost, and most of the time they have huge marketing/advertisement cost as well.

If someone post "I don't care", they actually care VERY much.
If they DON'T care, they WON'T bother posting.

A game with a ton of money behind it. Usually tries to come off as mature and accomplishes the exact opposite, shallow to average gameplay, and sometimes tacked on multiplayer. They're the equivalent of Oscar Bait movies with their legs spread wide open for the academy.

When I was at the Gamespot forums, it was called:

AAA game if the score was 90-100
AA game if the score was 80-89
A game if the score was 70-79

But that was based purely on GS reviews. Just offering a different perspective.
