I don't mind grinding either, in fact you might even say I like grinding, I'm just not a fan of it when I consider it excessive and pointless.

Not everyone feels that way however.

I know what you mean because that another reason why i quit playing FF 3 and 4 (DS) is because no matter how much i grind my characters was still weak and could easily die to basic enemies and still had major trouble against bosses. Without emulator save states and the speed up button i probably would have broke my controller in anger lol.

I suggest getting done with FFVII as soon as possible due to its sheer popularity. It's not my personal favourite, but it'll really get you into the series since most people are familiar with it.

I did play FF7 and got Aerith about a weak ago. Im playing 2 on my PSP right now.

I'm not really sure why that would be the case, I didn't find FF3 particular hard in that respect. The game did a fairly good job of cluing you in on what classes you needed for specific instances, after that it was just a matter of leveling them up a little bit and gearing them up.

Or you could just break the game by using the Overpowered Classes like Monk, Warrior, Black Mage, ect...

All you had to do to make them overpowered was spend some time leveling them up. By the time they hit 20 or 30 they'd decimate stuff without much trouble. It was really easy to just fight Goblins around the first town and level up quickly.

I said im skipping 3 and i heard 3 (PSP) is the same as 3 (DS) which means it isn't going to be any easier.

I'd still love to try and convince you to give FF3 another shot. I have a feeling if people went over some of the basic mechanics with you the game wouldn't be so difficult.
