Valkyria Chronicles and Folklore, two early (and awesome) PS3 exclusives.
VC is a SRPG with an interesting hybrid style of combat that has turn based actions, but also TPS elements as well. An amazing art style (so much so that I bought the amazing 'Design Archive' artbook which is easily worth it if you fall in love the game and it's look as I did) and overall visuals that hold up REALLY well for how old of a PS3 game it is. Good characters and a solid, well told story. I cannot recommend the game enough.
Folklore is a third-person Action/RPG with a very interesting concept and setup for the story and setting. Interesting (and not crappy!) use of the Sixaxis controls, two main characters that you play as through the story, and another game with a strong and well done art and visual style for the game that also holds up well, despite it's age. Folklore has two demos that I think are still on the PSN. I tried one of them when I got my PS3 (I wasn't aware of this game when I bought my system) and immediately ordered the game off Amazon, never even played the second demo that I also downloaded. :) --- To the mattresses. 3DS code: 2621-3902-1737, PSN: Justice_98405, Xbox Live: Justice98405
I second Valkyria Chronicles. Justice98405 summarised it pretty well. If it sounds like your kinda thing, TC, I don't think you'll be disappointed. I know I wasn't. One of my favourite PS3 titles. --- Now playing: Valkyria Chronicles 2 - PSP
