MGR is great. It's not Bayonetta great, but nothing is.
It's okay, I have no idea who I am either.

but mostly because the story wasn't told all that well imo.

The codec stuff really fleshes out the story though.

The story is terrible -__-
Game itself is pretty good, but it lacks polish, balance, etc. It just feels rushed overal (and considering that it's made in 13 months, it's understandable).

In SA2, it's Super Sonic and Hyper Shadow.

To be fair, any game needs more than 15 minutes before its declared to 'suck'. Any work deserves more than that.

The first episode of 'The Wire' is a bit of a mess, doesn't mean it automatically sucks.

tbh MGR has the fastest time in capturing one's attention. By the time the first chapter is over it is already hype.

It was OK, nothing great. The story was pretty dumb, and the combat was cool. I just liked being able to dice fools into pieces. But yeah, it's definitely not worth a full $60.

I paid $60 and I have no regrets. I've played through it four times already, plus I've played through the DLCs (after they were made free) once and twice, respectively.

You are all responsible for Raiden turning out this way. You made him this way.

But in the end, it has to be this way.

No matter how dumb the story is nothing beats the stuff that final boss says.

I loved that line. I felt like it was a giant middle finger to everyone who complained about the nanomachines in MGS4.
