I don't know if this is old news but I saw this on IGN.com a Ferrari F1 in the new GT5 Prologue
i don't know if it's me or not, but the wheels and tires look to narrow and the same size front and rear.
it looks great though, hopefully there's at least one other formula 1 car in the game... the ferrari team is way over hyped.
yeah it dose. I just want to take the ferrari on the Daytona speedway.
Yeah, PD is a little off on the tires and a few other aerodynamic aspects, but it's still an F1 car in GT; most won't be too picky once they get to drive it.
As far as I know, PD have acquired the Ferrari F1 license. Since they consider themselves a privateer team, it wouldn't be so hard to get in comparison to the FIA license (?) to include all the other cars. Of course, Sony still holds the license for this.. EA has not picked up on it as some have said. There's a fat chance that PD could do something with it, but who knows..
We're not like the others.
I for one wouldn't care that it's not perfect.
I think it looks great. PD should be making the next F1 game for sure.
I must be high or I'm writing during my sleep again.
You never know, let just hope. I really don't want EA to get the license
If EA gets the license, I see myself playing F1:CE for a long time.
We're not like the others.
You might be doing that anyway at this rate. Even if PD does a full F1 game after GT5, when would it be finished?
From the pieces of news that have come out over the last year or so, it seems that Sony still has the exclusive rights to publish F1 games, but the actual costs of producing another game (royalties to Bernie?) were too much for SCEE and Studio Liverpool to continue their series. Supposedly, even Kazunori Yamauchi has complained about the costs of FOM licensing (in an interview with a French magazine several months ago, when the Ferrari and F1 cars were first "announced" to be in the game).
I just hope that something will be released in the next year.

I haven't seen the Ferrari F1 in GT5, all i've seen is the 430, either way I've also heard that several race drivers have said that PD made the Ferrari's harder to drive than in real life, but we'll see how that plays out. That would be really cool if PD got the F1 license cuz i think people would buy it just because they also made Gran Turismo. As someone who's played both the EA and Studio Liverpool versions of F1 games, I'll say this: if EA gets the license they have the potential. Look at FIFA and Madden...they know what it takes to make a great game, they just never put the money in Formula 1 games. I love F1:CE. Let's see how everything pans out.
