You colorblind, dude? Every color on the 6th costume is brown. The SNES Bowser's shell is green. The orange you're seeing is on the spikes, which every color of Bowser has.

Look at where the spikes are portruding in the SNES sprite. They're brownish.

Bowser's costume in this one has a greenish tint to his brown.
