About AP during Ascension form(probably noob ?)

Hi..I just need some help about something really bothers me...
so here it is...when i transform into ascension form...and then i use some ability likes dragonbreath, xxx claw, xxx breath, and those 0 AP cost ability.............and after that every single time i lose AP and also when im attack i lose AP...and thats why I revert back to Ryu again...is it normal...????plz help...

There is a set AP cost per turn when you are transformed(differs depending on form taken).
