hope is the best healer, but i use vanille so i can control her Sabs too

hope is the better character period (among those 2) .... he fills the roles of both healer and synergist, plus hes the best ravager

then you can use fang for sen/com/sab and finally light for rav/com/med

Mm Vanille is better earlier because she gains Raise, Curasa and Curaja much earlier than Hope does, but in the end game Hope is better due to the higher magic stat.

If you equip Vanille with the healing staff, then her. If not, whoever has the higher magic stat (naturally Hope) will be better, as they have the exact same spell list.

if you give hope a weapon that gives 700+ magic (should in post-game)
and compare it to vanille with the measly 424 magic from the healer's staff, the 20% boost to cure spells is still outdone by hope.

How so? If Vanille has 2000 magic the 20% boost is an effective +400 magic in terms of healing, and Vanille can easily get over 2000 magic.

and hope can easily have over 2400 magic.
