I prefer RE4. Leon's more fun to play as, the story doesn't take itself seriously, the knife isn't nerfed and the escort bits are considerably shorter, not to mention you can ditch Ashley in a dumpster for whole sections of the game. It also holds a scare or two. I still dread the Regenerator sections. RE5 is a great couch co-op game but the ally's AI sucks, it has no sense of ammo or item conservation, let alone survival.
I like them both. but agree that re 4 does not have the better story.
as someone pointed out ashley can be put in a dumpter if wishes in re4 for better than re 5. but why? i could see that with ashley, but why would anyone not to want to make out with sheva? the only thing i would be want to put sheva in is my cyber wet dream.
This is my fav too, of the latest REs (Rev very close second). Used to be 4 but got pretty bored of it now after so many years. Been playing RE5 since release and haven't got bored of it yet (probably never will). It has the most replay value I think of them all.
The original RE is my fav out the classic ones. --- PSN ID: TurnipGuy
just played desperate escape for the first time last night. great mini game. lots of carnage and shooting. a good practice for gun triggering before going on the more challenging mercenaries since the majinis are not as quick and aggressive in ds.
on the other hand, not too impressed with lost in nightmare. though it has it good moments. but does not have the fun as desperate escape.
