Anyone have a copy that is scratched up and still plays great?

i ask because i want to know if i would have to get another copy, since i dont know how strong ps2 discs are

mine is not terribly scratched but has wear and tear marks

My American copy ... has its moments of stopping and freezing, but that can easily be prevented from saving frequently. So.... it works, but kinda has its period.
