I've always assumed that as far as Midorikawa is concerned, you play SRW by skipping all of the text and then making Heero and/or Masaki kill all the other guys.

I'm glad you're being facetious.

I skip all the dialogue. Animations, too. It makes the game faster. The sooner I finish the game enough times, the sooner I can get to my "watch the animations where I deal 5-digit damage on a regular basis" playthrough. Just depends on how profitable the good farming stages are. I don't care about skill points. And I don't really farm money. I just try to even levels out every now and then. The money is an incidental perk to making the level range look more like a plateau and less like the ceiling of Bubble Man's stage.

I actually enjoy it more if I see an animation with weak damage and see it later with a stronger output. It gives the feeling of getting stronger even in the simplest aspect.

Well, while it is appreciated and I don't mean to sound like a jerk, that has been around for a while. And that clip, wow, the worst quality I've ever seen. There's a much nicer one floating around somewhere here.
