I know if you use bullet and kusuha you get an upgrade but what about the rest? We have 6 pilots

On the Real Route Huckebein gets an upgrade first from Mk.II to Mk.III and then later the boxer and gunner frames. The other pilot gets a Grungust.
On the Super Route the Grungust upgrades to the RyuKoOh/KoRyuOh.
It is the same for all the pilots, only the Real/Super Route choice makes a difference.

In case you still don't know about this mechanic in alpha.
Every 4 melee / range kill gives you 1 bonus stat up to melee / range so range shooters like Amuro/Char should focus on range kill and Melee type guys should focus on melee kill to get more bangs for the buck. Same goes with alpha gaiden. Map attack kills don't count.
And there is the unlimited sp trick...

So even if you pick tasuku on a grungust it becomes koryuoh?
Also anyone has a video of the upgraded hucks in alpha 1?

Your selected protagonist will start in Grungust Type 2 and wind up in RyuuKoOh, The protagonist's love interest will wind up piloting KoRyuuOh.
