Official * Can my Computer run Diablo 3 Topic * Post your specs

#1ryudo500Posted 4/24/2012 9:58:26 AM
Just posted this in the GW 2 forum

Since I and others have wondered whether or not our desktops/laptops would be able to run it. I figured why not make a topic where users can post their specs and inquires and others can tell if the game is playable, on what setting, or what they need in ORDER to be able to run it

We don;t really need to know the model. As long as we have CPU, RAM, and V-card. we can make a somewhat accurate dedcision. all the extra info is very helpful as well.

Blizzard, has always been a spec friendly company. Always. I would even say some 400$ laptops would be able to run D3 on lowest settings with low-avg fps. on the lowest of low

Mostly looking for a video card upgrade perhaps just a little over $100. Wondering what else I can do with this machine before I build from scratch.

Mainboard : eMachines EMCP73VT-PM
Processor : Intel Pentium E5300 @ 2600MHz
Physical Memory : 4096MB (2 x 2048 DDR2-SDRAM )
Video Card : NVIDIA GeForce 210
Operating System : Windows 7 Home Premium Home Edition Media Center 6.01.7600 (64-bit)
450W Power Supply.

As well as if I'll be okay to run the game come release..

Just wondering what made you go with the MSI MB. I just got a kit from new egg for this game that came with MSI and so far I have not had any problems with it but I had never heard of MSI before. I don't keep up with computer parts, my last build was at least 4 years ago and MSI was not really an option, just abit and asus. Is MSI a decent company?

I went AMD for the first time ever with my recent build. Stats are: A4-3400 (2.7ghz), 4gb DDR3, MSI board, 1 TB HDD, and radeon sapphire 6570 2gb.

I went super cheap this time and got pretty much just a little above what was needed to run this game. Went with an MSI board and wasn't sure about it. I spent under $400 and could not be happier with how it is running right now, and how it ran the beta. I don't play a lot of PC games so I didn't need to worry about the future if something comes out that interests me I'll upgrade my GPU.

TC:
Great thinking on the topic. This topic has been around before and people didn't keep it bumped and mods were too lazy to sticky it. I'll request a sticky for this one and hope others do as well. It would be nice to have had this thread up a week ago, it makes sense to have until release.

To request a sticky: message detail/ request sticky/ comment box " answer to most frequently asked question".

First all, I will say this to anyone who asks me. I feel that if you bought ANY computer in the past 1,5 years. even 2. I feel You will be able to atleast RUN D3.

With your specs. I feel you can run it on low settings. I am actually the most unfamiliar with 200 series but should be as good as integratd HD3000.

If youare looking to up, I think vid card would be the best bet. and for the price range of 100-150, you can find a good neough upgrade
