Diablo III

It is indeed in the southern highlands. South of the gate leading to the northern area, there is a large section of the map to the right of the road. This area does not move. In that area there are several thing that can spawn, including (but not limited to):

Abandoned Servant House
a boarded up house that looks just the the ASH except you can't go in
a raised platform with a summoner cultist unique in a bubble
a goatmen camp with a rare and unique goatmen
the sub-region (forgot the name) housing the Revenge of Gharbad event

When resetting this area, I found it best to set the current quest to Trailing the Coven, grab the staff, then hit the checkpoint at the gate.
