I know how ilevels worked in WoW, but am not sure how they work in this game.

From what I'm reading 63 is the highest currently, and drops in Act 3/4?

Could someone give me a rundown, or link me to a place where I could find out.

You cant until the change it in the next patch.

Its an intentionally hidden stat that they are going to unhide to prove a stupid point that no one is contesting.

Basically I believe Act 2/3/4 Inferno can all drop ilvl 63 loot, but the highest tier armor is in act 3/4.

All lvl 60 Legendaries are ilvl 60-61, which they feel the need to show us, instead of just making them higher quality.

right now the only way I know of is look what the base name is EX. Phantom bow, Archon (piece), Hellion, use the blizzard item guide and see what level it is.

You can tell the tier by the item name and you can check them on the blizzard website. Here's the shoulder armor list for example.
Upon the Blasted Plains, Zerthimon told Gith there cannot be two skies. In the wake of his words, came war.

Anything with the name modify Archon on blues or before identifys of Rares are a level 63 armor. As for weapons the ones I know off the top of my head

Centurion Spears
Doom Hammers
Desolator Wands
Rune Swords
Hellion Crossbows
Revernant Bows
Sovereign Staffs

For the rest just look at the game guide on the D3 site. The last weapon for each group is the ilvl63 weapon of that weapon type and are the ones you want to keep an eye out for.
