Hardcore wizard build?

Here is my current build...

Here is what I THINK I should build towards but I dont know... have been kind of unimpressed with all the secondary skills but I thought maybe disintegrate might become useful with the slowing passive

I really dont know.... it seems like maybe I should stick with just blizz and magic missle in that case but not really sure.

For hardcore I would go a little more cowardly than normal personally so something like

I think would be very safe and effective till inferno where it would be ok but very slow at killing stuff.

If you are better or just willing to take a risk, the standard fair of something like

would work.
Alternative choices for first skill Seeker magic missile, or arcane orb obliteration.

Also looking at your builds now, familiar is actually useless except early on, it doesn't actually buff you like magic weapon, it just attacks with you and only does based off weapon dmg, doesn't count multipliers.

Disintegrate is one of the most pointless attack spells, you really need hydra it is amazing. Especially in hardcore you will love not having to stop and stand still to attack stuff.

For the most part, and if you're good you can obviously get away with doing whatever you want, every wizard needs force armor, force weapon, and hydra. Pretty much everyone will also go with teleport fracture and illusionist passive, for hardcore I'd say those are essential.

Most people use the first build or sub out Blizzard for Piercing Orb.
