Why would they nerf the damage players do when Inferno mobs already got too much HP?

They are nerfing Inferno Acts 2-4.

I heard they are only nerfing damage. Not the several million HP bars of elite mobs.

Non-weapon IAS nerfs:
Haste 1: Old: (2-3%) New: (2-2%)
Haste 2: Old: (4-5%) New: (2-3%)
Haste 3: Old: (6-7%) New: (3-4%)
Haste 4: Old: (8-9%) New: (3-4%)
Haste 5: Old: (10-11%) New: (4-5%)
Haste 6: Old: (12-13%) New: (5-6%)
Haste 7: Old: (14-15%) New: (6-7%)
Haste 8: Old: (16-17%) New: (8-9%)

This is what I had hoped for, it makes other stats competitive with IAS while still allowing you to stack it to make kiting easier. Pieces with more than 16% IAS will probably still be better than anything else.

Nerfing weapon DPS sucks, though.

Start stocking up on that Crit Chance and Crit Damage.

I assume the IAS nerfs won't be retroactive, meaning any pieces you get a max bonus on will still have it after the nerfs, which means you will have a god tier level of items that can no longer be found.

that is actually my biggest question. Will they be retroactive? If not, then Blizzard risks alienating new players. If yes, they need a legendary flame shield.

Dont talk about good stats or those will get nerfed too. I think we should all talk about how awesome and OP the "increase gold pick up range" stat is.

That's a huge reduction if it's true... sigh, I like shooting fast... Blizzard doesn't want people to have fun it seems.
