Geez... you weren't kidding when you said wall of text.

Also D2 WASN'T the same game people are looking back on so fondly when it came out... so most of what you ranted about may well be adressed by the time the game is all patched to the nines.

You're judging D2 by it's ultimate "final form" and judging D3 by patch 1.03.... that's not what I'd call totally reasonable... you have no idea what the future will bring for D3.

i judge D2 by 1.09, far from it's final form.

Fair enough, but...

1-You aren't TC and TC doesn't say what he views as D2's ultimate incarnation so I assumed he was talking about it's current form.

2-1.09 is still a long ways from 1.03.

ITT: Charms, more gems and runes cannot be added into the game, ever.

Those things werent added into D2 until the xpac. I'm sure we'll see the same treatment for D3.
