didn't bookshelf exp get nerfed?

i remember destroying every bookshelf in this game because books represent knowledge. they are nerfing everything else that gives exp so i thought they nerfed bookshelves too; is this true?

They've only nerfed it in act4. You continue with your shelf destroying in act1 no problem.
