"Trifecta" is used to describe things that exceed in three distinct qualities.
It comes from horse racing. You can bet on just the winner of the race, but if you successfully bet on which horses place first AND second, it's 'perfecta.' Throw in third place as well, and it's trifecta.
Remember it as perfect 3, though it doesn't necessarily have to be perfect.
