So I'm seeing a lot of people farming Vault of the Assassin

What's so great about it?

7 or more elites in a pretty small area. Enemy types aren't that bad either.

5-8 elites in there every single time.

It's the best farming spot for those who can't handle A3

Interesting. Is there any particular routine people run? Like do they farm specific areas for NV stacks and then go to the vault or just vault right away?

I get my 5 stacks from black canyon mines, the area next to road to alcarnus, and desolate sands then head to Vault.

Road to Alcarnus, Black Canyon Mines, Vault of Assassins. Doesn't really matter which order you do them in. Usually get around 12 elites in about half an hour. Can do Zoltan Kulle and Belial after that or just start the run over.

For Act 2....I do the Desolate Sands, Vault of the Assassin, the one or two other caves in the Desolate Sands, then go do Kulle's three dungeons, then Kulle.

Rinse and repeat.

My A2 run is similar to those listed already. In the last week I've found four legendaries worth about 13m, two perfect star plans, and about 100 ilvl 63's. I can hang in A3 but it's very slow going so right now I prefer A2.

enter sewers from the end for 2/3 quick and easy elites
Black Canyon Mines to complete the 5 stack
VofA for tons of elites and usually a Gob
possibly Belial if I'm up for it, but it adds a significant amount of time.
