The poe promoter doesnt even play d3. All the "facts" that he presented was taken from people's mouth. He doesnt even know the firebird set is lv70 set item.

Guys, stop giving that guy too much attention or else he will get comfortable and end up neglecting his poe.

Even if true, it doesn't mean the "facts" he presented are incorrect.

What really just happened in this topic is that Ryan pointed out that D2 (which you guys brought up for some reason) provided players with a variety of play options, unlike D3. Instead of responding to the content of his post you guys just responded to by saying "durrrrr do you even play the game durrrrr."

That's true...if you ignore this:

Well, let's see...

PvP - not for everyone. Some people loathe it.
Uber Tristram / Diablo - D3 has ubers.
Hitting lvl 99 - Paragon 999 anyone?
Ladders - coming Soon™
Finalizing build/gear/points - Some builds were completed before lv 60.
Runewords - okay, I'll agree with this
Item Grail - Picking up every unique item? Still doable on D3.
Finding perfect items for your char/alt - Still doable on D3.
Trading/Buying/Selling - non-applicable for solo or SF players

So, only 2 things D2 had and D3 hasn't that really concerns everyone (which are offset by Rifts and Bounties). (:

On top of that, D3 does have PvP in the form of brawling. It also has trading if you play co-op.

You can trade white/blue/yellows too if need be. I know that some people have found yellow necks with 10% CC, 100% ChD, main stat, and element of choice :)

That post was like if i made a pros and cons list about any rpg ever, but left out the cons.

-You level up
-Get gear and loot
-Kill bosses
-Did I mention max level?
-Story
-Best armor for other characters

Hit the nail on the head. I wasn't even the first one to bring up D2 lol. Then there's RoS where it's 90% just Bounties/Rifts in the form of RiF. I don't think anybody really plays Brawling due to the poor balancing, and I don't think many people do the Lvl 70 Ubers since I haven't seen a D3 armory with someone wearing a Lvl 70 HF Ring due to the how BiS the RoRG/Unity is + whatever other Legendary/Set Ring there is.

IIRC one of the primary reasons you hardly see anyone wearing a lvl 70 HF Ring is because you're not even guaranteed a Primary Stat (which is absolutely required for gear) whereas the lvl 60 one, you could choose a guaranteed Primary Stat.

^I think people will be running Ubers a lot more once 2.1 is released.

I already have been, but solo on T6. It would be more fun if others joined in.

Agreed, 5 Passives is quite OP. One thing I'm wondering is if you can reroll the Passive Skill for another Passive Skill and if the reroll options will be picked from a pool of only Passive Skills or included in the whole pool of Primary Stats (like how rerolling Legendary affixes is right now)

But I'm just glad the HF Amulet is actually guaranteed a Primary Stat.

Nope, you have to keep grinding for the optimal neck.
