Does dual play from a 3DTV work for Wii games?

Just wondering. I have a 3D TV, but I can't select the dual play feature when using the Wii. So I'm curious if it's possible to get it to work on a Wii.

Sadly don't have a PS3 or 360 available at the moment to see if it would work on almost any game with those, but I assume it would work (since it would just snip 2 horizontal or vertical screens in half and stretches them out to full screen, so 1 player can see 1 screen and the other sees another screen).

In SA2, it's Super Sonic and Hyper Shadow.

Actually most of the two player games I've played on Wii are not stright horiz or vert split games. Anyway, I suppose a TV could "assume" this split but I haven't heard of that. I don't really keep up with TV tech. As far as I know this is a feature that's specifically coded in to the game, as I've seen icons for it on the back of PS3 games.

Any game that allows split screen like I mentioned should work with dual play. So it doesn't necessarily need to be a supported feature.

Interesting. What is the model number of your TV?

LG611s, 32 inch version.

Pretty much all LG 3D TV's support the dual play feature these days. Maybe not older ones.
