You literally put both Conduits in the same tier as Galaxy

If TEV shading is such a big deal to you, why rank Skyward Sword and Smash Bros Brawl so high when they hardly use it, but rank Klonoa much lower despite it having much more shading effects?

Smash Bros Brawl uses TEV all over the place. Skyward Sword also makes good use of Wii motion plus like Wii Sports Resort. Klonoa also doesn't have much more shading effects as a 2D game it's not as ambitious as what's going on in Smash Bros Brawl. Smash has a single player mode as well as an classic adventure mode as well as many different events and online multiplayer. Klonoa Wii is just a graphical overhall of a older 2d game. That's why its lower.

So let me get this straight. You care about graphics and yet you bought a Wii.

Something im not getting here?

Yes. Games should look good since the wii is capable not half hearted and overhyped.

Are you serious? The Wii is not capable. Its running on 16yr old hardware.

I saw a toaster and a wii side by side spec comparison and the toaster won.

If you care anything about graphics, the Wii is not for you.

Smash bros certainly doesn't use the TEV "all over the place." Surface mapping is scarce.

Klonoa may not have as much going on in terms of animation, physics, and models, but uses many more shaders; enemies are specular mapped, water refracts, and rock is bumpmapped.

.

Name a 16 year old game that can graphically outmatch Mario Galaxy, Silent Hill Shattered Memories, Jett Rocket, or even Rogue Squadron 2 & 3.

ever heard of exaggeration to make a point? I love the Wii and I love its games, but its not a graphics showcase and its not meant to be

Fair point.
I guess some people just wish the majority of its games looked closer to its best.
I find it interesting to talk graphics, but they're not my main concern playing a game; heck, the Wii's my #1 console this gen and I love games that don't even look that great for the Wii, like Goldeneye 007 and Skyward Sword.
