Aion Crashing?

I'm running an i7 rig w/ GTX260 gfx card and 6GB of DDR3 RAM. This game keeps crashing on me. Anyone else having this problem or is NCSoft just ridiculously incompetent?

it would be nice if you posted what error, if any, that your getting when crashing..calling NCsoft incompetent because the game crashes for you is pretty stupid considering it could easily be a system problem as well

good specs =/= things never crash

Ooops. Actually, the game just shuts down on itself and the Windows message pops up saying hte program has stopped working. Nothing abnormal happens before the crash. Googling it doesn't turn up much, so I think it might just be me. I'll try re installing the game.

That happened to me once, Aion closed up, but the error message said I didn't have enough memory available, for some reason I had 95% of my ram used and the culprit was Aion @_@.

Never heard of aion crashing for people at these boards or the beta boards so maybe check for virus/spyware

Playing around with the settings, I noticed that it crashes if I have my texture detail and anti-aliasing high. So... I'll have to play this game with cruddy gfx. That's not normal, is it? My computer should be able to handle it find, right?

I have the same problem, happens the same with high or low settings.

While I am playing, Aion will just crash (exactly like how you said). Sometimes it happens in 5 minutes; other times I can play for 2 hours straight and no crashes. It seems completely random, and I have no idea how to fix it. Also, when it does crash, I can not play more than 10 minutes without it crashing again unless I restart my computer.

Spoolz the SAME exact thing is happening to me... I have a pretty nice computer too.

Same thing here, I think it may be a memory leak from the game. Hopefully they fix it soon.
How do you know on what you know if you don't even know what you know?

Just had the first crash ever in all betas. Graphics went haywire, all textures went white, huge tearing, then kick to desktop. Weird.
If you rage, chances are you've been trolled.
