Question about Marvel: Gold and Special Edition (Platinum Hits) edition

According to a few sources I have read these two options, not only include the extra characters but they also include exclusive costumes. Does anyone know if this is true, and if so what who gets extra costumes and what they are?

Here is one of the places I read about the different additions:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvel_ultimate_alliance (scroll down to the versions section)

However looking here: http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Marvel:_Ultimate_Alliance/Gallery
I do not see any extra costumes.

Before I try and find the Gold or special edition, as opposed to just buying the DLC I would like to find out what is going on.

If anyone could help I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I'm guessing by exclusive costumes they are referring to the costumes for the exclusive characters.

Since those costumes like their owners are not available in any other version of the game. They would be exclusive.

The fact is the other characters that are available across the different versions have the same costumes in every version.

buying the Gold Edition/Platinum Hits or Downloading the DLC into a regular version yields the exact same extra content:

8 new characters with their respective costumes, and the new achievements.

Overcracker, Thanks for your help. Now I can get the DLC without worrying about missing something.
