The Interdictor star destroyer. 3 laser cannons hard points and a special ability that will stop proton torpedos.

Sorry to add this but you should for god's sake must escort the executor with at least 3 of those and fill the rest up with corvettes.

To the earlier discussion in this topic to as why the Executor-Class is referred to as a "Star Dreadnought"; the reason for this is because "Dreadnought" refers to a large class of ship carrying mainly all large guns. In fact the vast majority of battleships manufactured during the 20th century were "Dreadnoughts" beginning with the HMS Dreadnought (actually the first all big gun design was the Japanese Satsuma but oh well) and ending with the Iowa-Class USS Wisconsin. So the reasoning for calling the Eclipse, Executor, and Sovereign classes "Dreadnoughts" is because their armament mainly consists of heavy turbolasers and ion cannons with comparatively fewer smaller weapons.

actually, the ships like the Iowa-class and the Yamoto class were called "super-dreadnoughts". The way I understand it, the battleships that fought in WW1 were dreadnoughts (although by WW1, the HMS Dreadnought was obsolete...) and the (few) battleships built during the inter-war period between WW1 and w were called Superdreadnoughts.
