New rumors suggest that Susan Sarandon is going to voice Stella. And Geena Davis will voice an unknown female enemy. There's supposed to be a clip somewhere of Geena Davis' character saying, "there's no crying in baseball" after Noctis fails to hit Davis' character with a bat-like weapon.

Apparently, Square wants to tap into Thelma & Louise and A League of Their Own nostalgia in order to market the game more effectively.

Thelma & Louise style or Dukes of Hazard style?

I can totally see Stella singing:

Touch-a, touch-a, touch-a touch me
I wanna be dirty
Thrill me, chill me, fulfill me
Creature of the night.
