Isn't it obvious, TC?

It means he's the ones who green lights all the spin-offs, direct sequels, remakes, mobile game, etc that have FINAL FANTASY in the title.

Shinji Hashimoto is manager of SQEX 1st production Department. he is credited as executive producer on all their games. He is also the manager of Sales & Marketing at SQEX.

He has also been executive producer of every PDD1 game since Sakaguchi left in 2003. He executive produced DC:FFVII, The 3rd Birthday and Sigma Harmonics. The only FF games that are not under his jurisdiction are the ones part of Ivalice Alliance and the FFCC series. Those are executive produced by Akitoshi Kawazu. Also, the mobile games such as FF Dimensions are executive produced by Takashi Tokita. However, the mobile games by PDD1 are executive produced by Shinji Hasimoto such as FF All The Bravest.

If he is the brand manager, isn't he the guy that needs to be fired even before Toriyama? The brand is almost completely destroyed now.

I figure this guy must be the most incompetent moron of them all.

So now we gotta fire this guy, Kitase, AND Toriyama.

You're both right.

I did some research on Shinji Hashimoto's credits in the past few years. Here's some of the awful games he's been credited on that I discovered:

- Final Fantasy VIII (1999) - Producer
- Dirge of Cerberus: FFVII (2006) - Executive Producer
- Final Fantasy XIII (2009) - Executive Producer
- Front Mission Evolved (2010) - Producer
- The 3rd Birthday (2010) - Executive Producer
- Final Fantasy XIII-2 (2011) - Executive Producer
- Final Fantasy: All The Bravest (2013) - Executive Producer
- Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII (2013) - Executive Producer
