Do you think King Caelum will die?

I think its possible and I wouldn't be surprised if it happened. The recent trailer has some foreshadowing about it. When he states that he will go down in history as the last king and the line about an act of love by the last king. The emphasis on him being the last king could possibly hint at his death too.

This game is supposed to be dark and have tragic elements so I can see them putting King Caelum's death as a big plot point. It looks like he's capable of fighting so I hope we see him do some cool stuff in the game. Maybe the Old White Robe man will serve as his antagonist.
Thoughts?

i actually agree I think he will die at some point maybe at the beginning, or mid way through.

Magic Vs. Firearms?? I think not. That old white dude won't stand a chance against the Caelums.

and we're talking about King Caelum. Basically, my man, kings are full of surprises,

Yes. But I think I'll be sad when it happens.

I can't deny the probability for King C to die. Yup that will drive the story. Maybe we get to see Noctis cry??

#6reno385Posted 2/6/2011 12:31:14 AM
I'd really rather not

Neither would I like to see Noctis cry.

Just as long as they keep it to a minimum or make the dialogue interesting and moving instead the generic "I'm ok as long as I have my friends" drivel spread out over a series of mundane cutscenes.

I doubt we see that, especially when he says that this world is made by fools.
