How exactly do more weapon types become available for forging then?

Taureno is the Jeigan in this game. He has bad starting stats and ends poorly. Trust me.

taureno is garbage. i experimented with him and got him to marshall. he is so bad, i feel sorry for anyone using him. his growths are horrible aswell.

One thing I could not figure out: You pay extra gold to make weapons heavier at the forge. So does this mean that greater weapon weight has SOME advantage? Anybody knows what it is? so far, it only seems to reduce chances for double attacks, so I do not see why anyone would want to pay that extra gold at the forge...

Whats the point of a higher weapon rate

The advantage for greater weapon weight is basically weakening. with a higher weapon weight and lower strength, then they won't double their opponents. allowing you weaker units to get more experience by killing the weakened enemy units. Also, with a higher weapon weight, when you fight allies, you may perhaps be able to double them.
