Since this is coming out for Wii, The remote should have plenty of interesting functions (Fishing, Mini-games, etc.)
Wi-Fi should let anyone at anytime visit your town and visa versa (assuming you opened your gates)
There should be some form of cooking or alchemy or crafting of somekind.
grow crops, trees, and bushes and flowers of many different varieties.
Furniture that can hang on walls
Bigger Town with many different looking areas.
There should be a Universal area, in which players connect to wifi and can travel to a number of different areas where no one can live, but there are still things to do. (A mall, amusement park of sorts, maybe a boardwalk, use your imagination)
snowball fights! You should be able to throw things. this would especially be cool with the wii-remote.
More... charming scenery and weather and things like that...
Much needed and much deserved graphic upgrade. It can have the same look to it, but everything should be a lot more detaild and rich.
More things to collect. Not just more bugs or more furniture... maybe collect stamps! or minerals. Maybe mining should be in this game or something...
More room for More Characters!!
Interactive furniture that can actually... do stuff!
Each character should be completely unique, with different likes, dislikes. If they put cooking in this, imagine the possibilities!
Anyone disagree with any of that? If you have you're own ideas please share!!

-Make an animal character to play as. Animal Crossing but I can't be animal? -Rotate camera. -More natural looking flowers, less grid-like. They don't look like a bed of flowers. -Flip through tools without having to open inventory. Better for bug catching/fishing. -Tools get their own slots in inventory. -More control over when animals leave. I'm sick of losing neighbors because I forgot to go inside their house, everyday. Some way to make animals permanent/semipermanent residents. -Uniform houses. All residents can upgrade their houses. Why do animals and people have different houses? -Animals can wear hats/accessories. Why do Mable/Sable sell stuff animals can't use?
Just off the top of my head...

i like a lot of stuff you said but one thing that i definitely disagree is with the alchemy or crafting...i know that was just an example but i feel that you're going to find that Nintendo will probably do that. The way Nintendo works is that they base their games and their games' features around the Wii remote, which is okay to an extent, but when you create a game JUST for that purpose, like Warioware for example, it just gets really stupid. (Like when has shaking a soda can in Mario Party ever been something that sounds fun?) I'm not saying they'll do that in AC but what I'm saying is that I want them to base the controller around the game, not base the game around the controller. So that there arent stupid mini-games (which is an inevitable and stupid addition to AC in my opinion) and it doesnt change or ruin the gameplay. --- "Butters, you have to imagine Santa.......IMAGINE SANTA!!!!"

I don't care if I'm wrong about this, but they may have leaked a new item to add to your normal inventory... Hammer! If you guys check certain sites, they say that there's a Golden Hammer that is a souped up version of the normal one. My only wanted feature that bugged me so much from when they came out with WW was that you could send mail to registered friends from YOUR town! I also hope they add more fruits so I can make more cash that way.

Personally, I think it would be cool if when you went to another town, your mode of transit changed depending on how far away that person lives in the world. Like if its with a certain amount of miles, you could just ride a bike. Next you'd take a car/cab, then train/subway, then airplane if they live overseas or over a certain mileage away. I think it would add more to the 'visiting' aspect of the game. And the whole rotating through tools and spot specifically for them sounds like an excellent idea.
Also, more clothes. Not just shirts and hates anymore. Pants, shoes, scarves, capes, jackets over shirts? Layers! Ability to make your own haircut, using the 'grab and pull' method you could use on Mario's face in the 64 game?

I agree with the mining thing. I had a great idea about a whole mini-game like activity for the game a while back. I could post it all again if you'd like ^_^ --- ¤‡/\/\|§§|NG |\|Ø. Allianœ‡¤ Founder Official Banner: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ET-tlEeGCo

Um you know how dot-dot-dot said that thay wanted to have more control over animals leaving, you could have a hotel where new animals come to stay every day and you choose who you want in your town by inviting them to live there and instead of animals moving away, you could just have the ability to kick them out. If you've ever played MySims, the idea is similar to that.
