I'm sorry, but I thought it was best to post my questions here since the aToV board seems to be dead....
1) is this song used in the (english) version of the game?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jo_sN-SGr0
When does it play?
2) Does the normal battle theme change in the course of the game? I don't like the orchestra version of the normal battle theme...
3) Which game of the trilogy has the worst translation?
4) There's no OP movie in the english version of aToV, correct?

Thanks for the answers in advance!

I would honestly suggest avoiding the trilogy as the localization is just that bad. But I guess you're going to play them.

IIRC, Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch had the worst translation, and (Cage)Song of the Ocean had the best one.

Spoink? Nice choice. Anyways...

The first one is the one with the notorious line that folks keep referencing. I don't own it, so I have to look it up..."I didn't have eaten a unusual today." I want a screenshot, haha. Anyways, for overall, trust what the poster above said unless someone else later corrects him.

^ I have a screenshot of that line, captured by my phone camera. Want me to upload it?

And yes, the battle theme changes frequently thorough the game. Field battle theme changes after a certain event in the end of Chapter 2. Cave-type dungeons have their own battle theme, which never changes. There are two normal boss theme, one of them only plays when fighting certain bosses. When a town is invaded, a special battle theme plays (although it also plays during non-playable battles).

Bad Localization? I hear that alot. I bought two out of the three but have yet to play them on my PSP. What was wrong?

And please don't respond to this with "You're young, you won't get it".
A good argument doesn't need 5 years to become effective.

AToV's localization is so bad it's good. At least we got gold like "I didn't have eaten a unusual today" and "Avin was Stone Blast mastered!" :D, which are so infamy they always appear when someone ask about the QUALITY of the localization.

If you follow my Gagharv Trilogy playthrough thread (shameless promotion here), I said that at least the story and music are good enough to enjoy Gagharv games. Well, there are some plot holes, but they're minor and seems unimportant to the overall story.

And don't forget the vast amount of attractive characters.

H-hey! I-it's not like I'm a crazed Thomas fangirl and found that the shota are delicious or anything like that, B-BAKA!
