Any downside to Alien Vision?

I remember back in beta Alien Vision used to reduce energy regeneration. I can't really notice any downside to keeping it active? I find it easier to keep track of players in close quarters with alien vision on.

The downside is that orange is a dumb color.

That's basically it.

I can live with that... But yeah, they should've gone with hot pink.

You can't see Bile Bomb and grenades very well. That's the only reason I would have it off.

It's more difficult to tell if you are in a dark spot when alien vision is on

Some times you'll smack yourself against glass like a bug. That's fixed by learning the maps, but it's funny to see another player do it.

I find that pretty important, and is the #1 reason I turn the vision off. Sometimes you need to understand how the marines are seeing you.
