Let me start off by stating that I did not discover this myself. I noticed that a post by rpm12345 and someone else (original thread was deleted, so I don't know who the other person was...could have been rpm12345). All credit should go to them. I tested it and got the F2000 last night.
This method is both legal and free.
I'm assuming you've already signed up for the Veteran's program.
Go and download the Battlefield 2142 demo from Battlefield's website. Install, create an account, play 1 game (I spent 5 mins running around in a circle and firing my weapons). Log out, go to the Battlefield Veteran's program, add your Battlefield 2142 account that you just created.
It will register the account to your EA/PSN accounts. Once you log back into Battlefield: Bad Company, check Unlocks in Multiplayer and you should see that you managed to unlock the F2000.
Thanks rpm12345 and whoever posted it in LO12D's deleted thread.

I was missing 3 of the find all 5 guns and really didn't care but awhile back someone here gave me a M60 code (thanx again) that left 2. They released the codes and that left 1, the F2000. I just had to fire up my PS2 now find my save for Modern Combat because I couldn't remember my user names (all 4) and the password was auto-set so I had to guess it. Never even have used these last 2 go figure, but I had to have them all.
This does work, I had some issues with the BF 2142 demo though, so I went and searched for the BF 2 Demo. Once I had downloaded that, created a logon and password, checked back at the veterans page, entered the logon and password there, and there was my F2000, the last weapon I needed.
So for all of you people that create topics yelling "Help! I need sum wun to gifv me a f2000 codze plz!" and then yell the same thing over and over....for fifteen minutes of your time you can get it yourself using this method.
