Morrowind not installing data???

I just decided to play Morrowind again, i put in the disc and tried to play it without the mods to make sure it worked and it kept saying that there was an problem with the program and it needs to close. I had a look into the program files and noticed the BookArt, Icons, Meshes and Textures folders were totally empty, the same happened when i tried to install Bloodmoon and Tribunal (although I am able to copy them over manually from the disc, but the morrowind disc i cant do this with) Ive also torrent-ed it and it did the exact same thing, so i think it could be something to do with my computer but i don't have a clue what it could be, if anyone else has this problem and/or knows how to fix it please help me, I don't want to be unable to play morrowind ever again :*(

Not sure but my best advice, do you have administrative permission? Is your CD scratched? Did you check here:

The folders will be empty since all of the games resources are kept in the BSA files.

If the game won't install completely, turn off your anti-virus before you install the game.
