how do I install the unofficial patch?

I downloaded it, but where do I place the folder?

I dled it on steam btw

There should be an .exe, you just run it. If you run that .exe and it doesn't work, try installing it to: Program Files>Bethesda Softworks>Morrowind>Data Files, then try again.

I downloaded the 1.6.4 and it only came with a data files folder and patch documentation.. no .exe file

I replaced the old morrowind data files with the patch ones.. is that enough? or do i need to find the executable?

I'm not sure, in that case. You should probably just start the game up and check some of the things affected by the files, like Sirollus Saccus. The Morrowind Code Patch makes it so the player can receive training from him.

I have TESTools, do I just place the mods into the Data files folder, or place them in the Morrowind folder?

Im guessing data files, because they have all the same file names

That's where I downloaded MCP from, you should probably do the same. Simplifies the whole process.
