Unlocking the Boss Information in the Monster Log?

At first, I assumed you could only see the Level of the monsters in the log, and didn't think much of it. However, I just rechecked it again and I noticed the EXP is now unlocked.

Does anyone know exactly how these numbers are unlocked for bosses?

If I had to guess, I'd say either defeating the game on each difficulty or defeating the Boss Rush on each difficulty is what unlocks it, but I'm not sure (if at all) which one it would be.

I'm actually not sure. I do have full boss stats, though it wasn't always this way. Back when we only had the fan translation patch, I wasn't able to see the Level and STR options, despite completing the game 4-5 times. In fact, I thought it was still this way, but now they're filled in somehow or other. The only notable thing I did was beat the game on all difficulties with all characters (one of the methods of unlocking Yunica's schoolgirl costume).

It surely works like all of the regular monsters do; defeat them X amount of times in story mode to fill in the data. Don't you think? Time Attack has no effect unless completed Boss Rushes do.

If it helps understand this, I have three full playthroughs--one with everyone--and the only data available for bosses is experience, defense, and whatever the other number in the bottom is. Oh, level.

Wait, that can't be right, either...since some bosses are fought more often than others, and I think I have those three bits of info open for all of them. I don't know.

I just completed a Normal Boss Rush, but nothing new unlocked. So I think it's either related to completing the game on a difficulty, or it is just like the monsters; once you defeat them so many times, it becomes unlocked, but rather than defeating each Boss a number of times, the defeats tally up and unlock a field for all bosses? Not sure, but it's something to think about.

It's based on difficulties cleared.

Could you elaborate? Is it something like clear each difficulty at least once, or is it something else?

If it helps, with the fan translation patch, I believe I only ever cleared difficulties on Very Easy, Normal and Nightmare, which was not enough to unlock all of the stats.

Every single difficulty cleared unlocks a different stat. Clearing Nightmare will get you SP but won't get you the lesser ones. You only have to clear each difficulty with a single character to unlock each stat, however.

Thank you very much Sara, I greatly appreciate it!

Which other difficulties unlock the remaining stats? I got EXP clearing it on Very Easy.

Very Easy: EXP
Easy: ____
Normal: ____
Hard: ____
Nightmare: SP

Level and STR are the only other ones I unlocked in the fan translation patch, so those two would presumably come from Normal difficulty (I misspoke earlier, and it's actually the HP and DEF I was missing before).

I completed Normal and got STR unlocked. That leaves just Easy and Hard to decipher.
