Stuck on glitch in first mission

I get to part after i destroy big gunship then world runs out of water and its just sky on ground and in air and nothing to shoot and just goes on forever. I tried starting anew game with a diff character and diff difficulty but still no difference. any idea how to get out of this

ok the glitch only happens when you play inverted axis so uninvert and do level and youl be fine
