My Sim is a teen girl, and she had a boyfriend who was also a teen. But he recently aged into a young adult...yet it still shows him as her boyfriend, her as his girlfriend. This was never possible in Sims 2, so I'm wondering if it's a bug?

Can't do romantic, not a bug just wait until the teen grows up.

It's not a bug. He's just waiting for her to turn 18.

In previous games, the relationship would suddenly change to platonic, which made no sense whatsoever at all!

I mean, if you had a high school sweetheart, do you immediately dump her upon graduation? Of course not!

You wait till you get into her pants, THEN dump her.
