Good Mods?

I played Sims 3 a long time back and with the school year over im thinking about trying it again, but back when I played it I have Awesome Mod and Indiestone Mod and my game was running great, but those expansions aren't what they used to be..

Is there anything up currently that will let me change settings on households? Retain Promises if I change households? Maybe have no limit on the number of people in households?Of course the old fixes where Sims didn't change jobs on you unless they were in the same career path and stuff?

I dunno where to begin :p.

And if you still are using AM, get rid of it.

Thanks, is there something wrong with Awesome Mod? I did use it ages ago, but I currently have no mods :p

It slows your game down far more than twallan's do, and it needs to be "updated" every 30 days whether a patch comes out or not.

Also, there are a few parts of it that conflicts with other mods---nothing major, but somewhat annoying if you are trying to "tweak".
