Hello level 11 here and I am having issues with MP with my casters in my group. My mage loses all of her MP in like 6 battles. When I set her to different tactics she never casts spells that benefit the battle. So do MP regain items exist in this game or do I just need to set her to my command and choose my spells wisely to save my MP? --- AC:CF- 2622-5169-0074 Name: Meteos Town: Oerba

I'd set every character to your command, since the AI will never be as accurate or use the right abilities as often as you will.
Magic Water restores some MP, it's expensive at 500 a pop and it's not sold until the harbor town after you can change jobs.

Well, your first problem is that you set them to tactics. Controlling them is a nice thing. Also with a wand equipped they can attack to get MP back. --- "Yipeee!"--Mistral"Get serious, Mistral!"--Sanjuro

I have the same problem. Where are you buying a wand at? All the weapon shops I go to only have daggers for my mage. --- Wario Ware D.I.Y. FC: 2364 8048 3376 Name: Majora

Get wands and upgrade the wand skill, which increases the mp you have while wielding wands and increases the mp stolen. --- Wizard's First Rule: People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything.

I've never had a problem with the AI but I do have them all set to follow orders during major battles and most dungeons. Isn't there a Wizard's Ring that restores MP for a few times before it breaks?
And wands restoring MP with an attack?? That's new for DQ IX right?

Yeah, its new. Wands do pitiful damage though and doesn't really restore too much mp, so far the most i have gotten back is 2 mp, but its very useful so far with my priest, who is always topped off and makes me want to waste mp healing every wound. --- Wizard's First Rule: People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything.

Okay so we've established that wands are good. WHERE CAN I BUY THEM!? I'm level 14 btw. Haven't seen a single one in any shop yet. --- Wario Ware D.I.Y. FC: 2364 8048 3376 Name: Majora
While we're on the topic, my priest isnt really having MP issues but I have been putting points in "Faith" for the more healing type abilities. Is that what I should be doing for my priest or go into wands with her to or staves? --- AC:CF- 2622-5169-0074 Name: Meteos Town: Oerba

You can buy wands right off the bat. The staves you see at the beginning are wands, for some stupid reason they have staff in their names, but the description says they are wands. --- Wizard's First Rule: People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything.
