It's Promethues or something. I followed the steps exactly word for word and it isn't working.

Find out exactly. I thought I did everything right as well but had to update myself.

A good part of installing is making sure your settings are correct. For example if you'be set your PC to hide file extensions naming your game.txt "game.txt" is incorrect since the file is now game.txt.txt instead of game.txt

It's also prometheus 4 and the recovery menue says the livepatch is enabled. However, the battles are still slow....

have you maybe have plugins disabled during game mode? It's one of the advanced settings.

It says game + xmb plugins are enabled under advanced. It still says livepatch is enabled and I've followed the video word for word. Everything is setup exactly as described.

Does this patch only work with cfw 6.00 and up or something?

I got it working by enabling that option 'Plain modules in UMD/ISO' under advanced. In case anyone else can't get the patch to work just enable that option.

I suggest you update your CFW, Prometheus 4 is very old and there are far better ones that you can use now.

PM me if you'd like to install the most up to date CFW/LCFW on your PSP. (I can also give you easy to follow instructions on how to do it)
