Shameful. I have no idea how the game regressed this much, aside from Gearbox outsourcing the game and using all their time and money meant for this on developing Borderlands 2 instead.

Don't even watch this folks - it will just depress you.

Far more atmosphere and mood lighting in the demo. Much more creepy and 'alien' loke.

Missing decals are bizarre. No need for it. Just looks unfinished.

that is beyond disturbing (as far as the game is concerned)...this takes the whole "Gearbox got handed crap, so of course it didn't turn out well" argument away to be honest. The demo looked insane...final product however, not so much.

This clearly reeks of Gearbox incompetence.

In all fairness though, wasn't that the PC version, (which looks considerably better than the console versions in the retail game as well)?

Yes pc version.... And the pc demo looks better than the pc retail version i have on steam

Some idiot, between then and now, went around with the ugly brush, making everything glowy and shiny which is not the look of the alien franchises.

PC version isn't so hot either. The footage of the final build they used in the video is from the PC also, I believe.

Well fanboys (and hopeful people) want to see the positive of a situation BUT the sad news is they made one excellent game and the rest aren't looking that great.
