I highly recommend SHU 5-X: Battle for Jie Ting for almost anything:
1-. If you look for weapons, it's a 3 star difficulty stage so you can get 4ths.
2-. Can be finished in around 6 minutes (5'22" my current record succeeding in the pincer attack and CLEARING everything in the entire stage but the side base captains) You only have to go in a straight line to finish the stage. No detours, no turnarounds, nothing.
3-. Normally you get 600/650 kills per go.
4-. Most enemy officers come to you, you don't have to track them out. ("Here, little birdie... keep your eyes straight at me")
5-. There are no "difficult" officers in the map (i.e. Lu Bu, Da Ji,...) the only ones that have that "hyper armor" (or whatever, I mean those lighning sparks covering their bodies) on are Sun Shang xiang and Masamune Date. If you have flash around, they're s good as dead.
6-. If you look for experience, you may wish to FAIL the pincer attack (moving out of the middle of the stage). All side enemy gates will keep pouring enemies that will just concentrate in the middle for the map where you may wait for them. Just stick near Magoichi so he's OK and keep killing, once you get tired, rush to Masamune. I racked 2500 kills or so before I got bored and finished the stage (don't remember the time, around 13'/15' I guess)

The key is to blitz. Blitz, blitz, blitz. Don't wait for any events, don't wait for any conversations. Just haul ass to those locations and assasinate your targets. Four minutes simply isn't a whole lot of time.

| Not sure if anyone knew this (probably did), but Shu 1, is a very good level for collecting growth and fusion points. The gate near Cao Ren doesn't have a gate captain, and the enemies are practically endless. Oh, and you can up to 1000+.

| I dunno if this has been said, but you have to beat Lu Bu WITHOUT running away from him to heal or whatever in the 8-X stages for him to be impressed. If he doesn't say "So there's someone other than Orochi who can match my skill", then you messed up
