This or Stepmania?

Should I buy this for Wii or just get a dance pad for my PC and play Stepmania there? What'ya say?

Whatever you're more comfortable with. The only differences are that Hottest Party has hand motions, Tokyo Evolved is a little hard to make a simfile for considering that it changes randomly, the quality of whatever pad you find and the hardware to connect it to your PC, and that Stepmania can accept more songs at your discretion. It's more likely up to you to fill in your own pro's and con's with the differences between the two and come up with what fits into your best interests.

I plan on getting a metal pad for PC so I can play StepMania. I have DDRHP and imo get StepMania if you've played a DDR before but if not, get DDRHP and then get SM.

Alright thanks, I might just get SM then, since there doesn't seem to be a lot of J-pop in this, or am I wrong? But hand motions sounds tempting too... And characters ^^
But until I get some more facts, I think I'll stick with SM ^^

I was more refering to the random element that HP gives it, rather than just pick which version.

Get both! Stepmania is generally free if you already own a PC-compatible dance pad like a Red Octane!

The hand motions in Hottest Party are worth a try and you'll most likely never have hand compatibility with SM.
