WiibrazerPosted 6/18/2008 3:34:46 PM | Should I buy this for Wii or just get a dance pad for my PC and play Stepmania there? What'ya say? --- People who takes life too serious, just makes it more fun for people like me! \(^,^)/ Wii friend code 1763-5235-5101-8752 Nick: Shimon |
SnufStyle420Posted 6/18/2008 8:09:59 PM | Whatever you're more comfortable with. The only differences are that Hottest Party has hand motions, Tokyo Evolved is a little hard to make a simfile for considering that it changes randomly, the quality of whatever pad you find and the hardware to connect it to your PC, and that Stepmania can accept more songs at your discretion. It's more likely up to you to fill in your own pro's and con's with the differences between the two and come up with what fits into your best interests. --- It only take 17 muscles to smile, but 43 muscles to frown. Ph34r3dPosted 6/19/2008 2:53:20 AM | I plan on getting a metal pad for PC so I can play StepMania. I have DDRHP and imo get StepMania if you've played a DDR before but if not, get DDRHP and then get SM. Hope this helps :) |
Wiibrazer (Topic Creator) Posted 6/19/2008 4:53:32 AM | Alright thanks, I might just get SM then, since there doesn't seem to be a lot of J-pop in this, or am I wrong? But hand motions sounds tempting too... And characters ^^ But until I get some more facts, I think I'll stick with SM ^^ --- People who takes life too serious, just makes it more fun for people like me! \(^,^)/ Wii friend code 1763-5235-5101-8752 Nick: Shimon |
KyzentunPosted 6/19/2008 8:39:19 AM | SnufStyle420: The guys ended up making 3 simfiles for Tokyo Evolved, one for each ending.

SnufStyle420Posted 6/19/2008 5:47:36 PM | I was more refering to the random element that HP gives it, rather than just pick which version. --- It only take 17 muscles to smile, but 43 muscles to frown. Give your mouth a workout. |
PkGamPosted 6/19/2008 10:22:01 PM | Get both! Stepmania is generally free if you already own a PC-compatible dance pad like a Red Octane!
The hand motions in Hottest Party are worth a try and you'll most likely never have hand compatibility with SM.

Wiibrazer (Topic Creator) Posted 6/20/2008 5:05:42 AM | What ya mean "random element" rather than "pick which version" (By the way, I'm asking because I don't have a dance pad for PC) --- People who takes life too serious, just makes it more fun for people like me! \(^,^)/ Wii friend code 1763-5235-5101-8752 Nick: Shimon |
