Remember when you were complaining about TBA 2010, now NCSoft says 2011 :)

Blizzard might even beat them to release d3 prior to gw2.

I remember when they hyped GW2 up like crazy before EOTN was released. Talking about how it's before GW2 and it'll open up to GW2. Then we don't hear ANYTHING on it until a year and a half later going "Oh uh... um.. GW2, probably 2011. Maybe."

Not entirely true, there were other press releases. The pause between the last early trickle of news and the current trickle of news was pretty annoying, though.

Precisely why you keep your mouth shut about ANYTHING unless you have stuff to show that's not concept art. The hype machine is dead, and while I will admit that GW2 looks a hell of a lot better than I thought it would, Anet is going to have to work their asses off to try to re-hype the game for it's 2011 release... Which is over a year away. It's arguable that they still started to early with trailer and informational releases, unless they intend to release it very early in 2011.

SE did it best with FFXIV. No word of it at all until E3 of this year, massive and constant release of information to go along with it, and only a year's wait until the game is released. That is how you announce and hype up an MMO that you want to be successful. What Anet did with Guild Wars 2 was full of fail.

Each person might see a rose with a different shade of red, but the fact that we can all agree on is beauty -- that is a miracle.
